Dynamic Update | Vilion’s Multi-Site Energy Storage Frequency Regulation Project in Sweden
Recently,the battery energy storage system solution designed and provided by Vilion has entered the commissioning and acceptance phase across multiple project sites in Sweden. The solution includes 12 sets of 60kW/125kWh EnerArk-M integrated outdoor battery storage cabinets, the ViStarter energy management system, and PowerHub combiner cabinets, and other related equipment. These systems will be widely applied to local grid frequency regulation services, providing robust support for regional power system stability and contributing innovative solutions for the sustainable development of the Swedish power market.
The frequency regulation solution is deployed across four sites in Sweden, with two core locations in Varberg and Gnosjö, and additional sites planned for campus use in the Varberg area. The solution's design utilizes EnerArk-M integrated outdoor battery storage cabinets, which perform frequency regulation services for the grid under the control of a third-party EMS, ensuring stable and reliable power supply.

Breaking News|Successful Completion of 5MWh Industrial Park Energy Storage Project SAT Acceptance
On October 16th, the 2.4MW/5.16MWh BESS project undertaken by Vilion for an industrial park in Huizhou successfully completed all on-site acceptance tests (SAT) and commissioning work, passing all inspections.
The industrial park is large, with numerous buildings, uneven power load distribution, and high energy consumption. Vilion designed a solution based on the client's energy needs, using its self-developed EnerArk battery energy storage system. The installed capacity is 2.4MW/5.16MWh, consisting of 24 units of 100kW/215kWh EnerArk integrated outdoor battery energy storage cabinets, 4 PowerHub combiner cabinets, 4 ViStarter Energy Management Systems (EMS), and anti-backflow devices. The system is connected to the transformer's 400V AC bus to achieve grid connection. Through the EMS, the system manages the switching of on-grid charging transformer and the energy storage system scheduling to optimize charging and discharging strategies. After the system is put into operation, the daily charging capacity is 10,492kWh, and the daily discharging capacity is 9,232kWh, with two charge-discharge cycles per day. Based on this, it is estimated that the daily electricity cost savings amount to approximately 5,655 CNY, and annual savings could reach over 2 million CNY.
EnerArk is a compact plug-and-play battery energy storage system with an All-in-One design, integrating PCS, batteries, BMS, EMS, MPPT, an automatic fire protection system, and a temperature control system. It is easy to transport, install, and maintain. The system uses high-performance LFP batteries, with an intelligent BMS providing five layers of safety protection to ensure high security and reliability. Additionally, the system supports both AC and DC photovoltaic coupling and offers 24/7 online monitoring.
Once the project is connected to the grid and fully operational, it will effectively alleviate the power load of enterprises in the park, reduce their electricity costs, and help them increase efficiency and reduce costs.

Swedish Client Accepts 6MW/7.2MWh 1C EnerCube BESS from Vilion
On September 29, 2024, Vilion welcomed a visit from a major battery energy storage system service provider from Sweden. Mr. Andre and Mr. Thomas represented their company to officially accept the six sets of 1MW/1.2MWh EnerCube 1C containerized battery energy storage systems purchased from Vilion in August this year. They also toured our intelligent manufacturing facilities located in Shenzhen and Heyuan, Guangdong.
Accompanied by Boris Fu, Sales Director of Vilion’s Netherlands subsidiary, Dee Zhang, Director of Product Development, Ping Lee, Solutions Manager, and Factory Director Wang, Andre and Thomas first visited the Heyuan intelligent manufacturing base, where they conducted on-site testing and acceptance of the six EnerCube systems that had been produced and passed inspection. Vilion’s technical and R&D engineers provided detailed explanations of the products and conducted Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) based on the client’s requirements.
Following this, the clients, guided by Shawn Song, CEO of Vilion, Ping Lee and Boris Fu, visited the Shenzhen intelligent manufacturing plant. They gained in-depth insights into the development history of Vilion, Vilion’s product range, the production processes of battery energy storage systems, and the company’s safety management system. Both parties engaged in detailed discussions regarding the latest structural design and safety protection system of the upgraded EnerArk integrated outdoor battery energy storage cabinet launched in June this year by Vilion, as well as the design of integrated charging and storage solutions.
