Breaking News|Successful Completion of 5MWh Industrial Park Energy Storage Project SAT Acceptance


On October 16th, the 2.4MW/5.16MWh BESS project undertaken by Vilion for an industrial park in Huizhou successfully completed all on-site acceptance tests (SAT) and commissioning work, passing all inspections.

The industrial park is large, with numerous buildings, uneven power load distribution, and high energy consumption. Vilion designed a solution based on the client's energy needs, using its self-developed EnerArk battery energy storage system. The installed capacity is 2.4MW/5.16MWh, consisting of 24 units of 100kW/215kWh EnerArk integrated outdoor battery energy storage cabinets, 4 PowerHub combiner cabinets, 4 ViStarter Energy Management Systems (EMS), and anti-backflow devices. The system is connected to the transformer's 400V AC bus to achieve grid connection. Through the EMS, the system manages the switching of on-grid charging transformer and the energy storage system scheduling to optimize charging and discharging strategies. After the system is put into operation, the daily charging capacity is 10,492kWh, and the daily discharging capacity is 9,232kWh, with two charge-discharge cycles per day. Based on this, it is estimated that the daily electricity cost savings amount to approximately 5,655 CNY, and annual savings could reach over 2 million CNY.

EnerArk is a compact plug-and-play battery energy storage system with an All-in-One design, integrating PCS, batteries, BMS, EMS, MPPT, an automatic fire protection system, and a temperature control system. It is easy to transport, install, and maintain. The system uses high-performance LFP batteries, with an intelligent BMS providing five layers of safety protection to ensure high security and reliability. Additionally, the system supports both AC and DC photovoltaic coupling and offers 24/7 online monitoring.

Once the project is connected to the grid and fully operational, it will effectively alleviate the power load of enterprises in the park, reduce their electricity costs, and help them increase efficiency and reduce costs.
