On July 5, 2023, Vilion shipped the EnerCube2.0, a 250kW/774kWh containerized energy storage system, to the Federal Republic of Somalia, which also shows that Vilion's business in Africa continues to expand to East Africa.

Somalia used to rely on the diesel generators as its main source of power, and suffered the power shortage due to the high importing cost of fossil fuels. In recent years, with the abundant wind and solar energy resources, as well as the support policy of the local government, Somalia's sustainable energy development and utilization has been increasing.

The 250kW/774kWh energy storage system is a key part of supporting and connecting to the local photovoltaic system，and AC coupling with the PV and diesel generators to form a solar + storage micro-grid and provide the low-cost, clean and stable energy for the local community.
