Payback Period 3-4 Years| Significant Energy Storage Revenue in Guangdong Industrial Park!


In 2023, various regions across China successively introduced more than 100 policies related to C&I energy storage and the average peak-valley price difference exceeded 0.7 yuan/kWh in 18 provinces of China. With the dual stimulation of policy encouragement and the increasing profitability of C&I energy storage, China's C&I energy storage has experienced explosive growth, with the national C&I energy storage installed capacity reaching nearly 8 GWh in 2023.

Among them, Guangdong Province, with the largest industrial enterprise scale in China, has a huge demand for C&I electricity. In 2023, various cities in Guangdong introduced more than 36 policies related to C&I energy storage. In addition, the peak-valley electricity price difference in Guangdong has exceeded 1 yuan/kWh. In April 2024, the peak-valley price difference in Guangdong Province was 1.3607 yuan/kWh. The scale of C&I energy storage capacities in Guangdong ranks among the top in the country.

Vilion designed and delivered a 2.016 MWh outdoor battery energy storage system for an industrial park in Guangdong. It is equipped with 12 sets of self-developed and manufactured EnerArk1.1 integrated outdoor battery energy storage cabinets, mainly used for peak-load shifting. The project officially started operation in February 2023, According to the data evaluation and calculation, the project is expected to break even within the next 2-3 years.

The EnerArk series of integrated outdoor battery energy storage version 2.0 has undergone repeated innovation and verification in terms of appearance, structure, system integration, and EMS (Energy Management System). It has successfully passed CE certification for the whole machine, UN, UKCA, GB/T, and other authoritative certifications both domestically and internationally. It has been also successfully deployed in countries such as China, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Luxembourg, and Malaysia, serving applications such as peak-load shifting, DFR, FCR, backup power, solar + BESS microgrids, and  solar + BESS + charging.
