Former Minister of HESRI Thailand Visited Vilion, Discussed the Energy Storage Collaboration


[Shenzhen] - On November 10, 2023, Mr. Anek, the former Minister of of HESRI Thailand and his delegation visited Vilion accompanied by Mr. Shawn, the  Vilion's GM, the delegation learned about Vilion's development history, Vilion's latest products & solutions and the technological innovations in the energy storage.

Thailand, a country with high electricity consumption and a reliance on imports for 13% of its electricity demand, has recognized the need to address the pressure on its national power grid. Thai authorities have taken steps to promote the construction of energy storage systems, and energy storage has been included in the latest version of Thailand's "National Renewable Energy Development Plan (PDP: 2015-2036)."

Furthermore, as the Thai market embraces the rise of new energy vehicles, the demand for charging stations for these vehicles is expected to grow steadily, aligning perfectly with Vilion's new energy storage products.

During the visit, the delegation engaged in positive and in-depth discussion with Vilion on various topics, including the current status and trends in energy storage development in Southeast Asian countries, the collaboration between battery energy storage and power transmission in Thailand, and initiatives for carbon reduction and recycling.

Following the discussions, Mr. Anek, accompanied by Mr. Shawn, visited Vilion's state-of-the-art intelligent manufacturing facilities in Shenzhen. He witnessed the firsthand product development, manufacturing processes, and delivery capabilities of Vilion.

Impressed by Vilion's manufacturing excellence, specialized equipment, technological innovations, and adherence to high production standards, Mr. Anek expressed great interest in collaborating with Vilion on energy storage projects throughout Southeast Asia, particularly in Thailand. He firmly believes that Vilion's expertise in battery energy storage technology will contribute significantly to the ongoing energy revolution in the global C&I (Commercial and Industrial) sectors.
