Exploring BESS Projects Collaboration: Leading UK Solar Carport EPC Visited Vilion

On March 20, 2024, Mr. Damian, the Managing Director of X, one of the largest solar carport EPC companies in the UK, visited Vilion. Accompanied by Andy Chen, the Solutions Director of Vilion, and Miles Ge, the International Marketing Director of Vilion, they inspected Vilion's intelligent manufacturing facility in Shenzhen, China.

X is a UK-based EPC company specializing in providing end-to-end energy solutions for commercial, industrial, and agricultural clients. Their services range from consultation and financial support to system design, installation, and maintenance. X is recognized as one of the most competitive players in the solar carport EPC industry in the UK, focusing on solar carport installations, energy storage, electric vehicle charging infrastructure, power purchase agreements, and solar panel maintenance services. They excel in helping enterprise clients reduce electricity costs and carbon emissions.

Miles Ge provided Damian with a detailed overview of Vilion's development journey, including updates and iterations of the "Ener" series C&I battery energy storage products, technological innovations, and successful project implementations both domestically and internationally. Damian expressed high praise for Vilion's ability to successfully implement C&I BESS projects in countries such as the UK, France, Japan, and South Africa, despite the challenges posed by the Covid-19.
During Damian's visit, he specifically focused on several planned Solar + BESS + Charging projects in the UK, including integrated solutions for industrial park Solar + BESS + Charging and farm Solar + BESS systems. After carefully understanding the project information, Andy Chen, combining the project background and customer requirements, provided Damian with a detailed introduction to Vilion's products advantages in technology innovation, certification, delivery assurance, and local services. Andy Chen also presented preliminary project proposals tailored to the project needs. Through repeated discussions and visits to the R&D & intelligent manufacturing base, Damian ultimately recognized that Vilion's EnerArk2.0 integrated outdoor battery energy storage cabinet perfectly matched various Solar + BESS application scenarios and project requirements and it was deemed suitable for the upcoming industrial park and farm projects. Both parties reached a positive intention to cooperate on these two Solar + BESS systems.

Damian's visit to Vilion was primarily motivated by the Vilion's solid professional expertise and excellent reputation cultivated over more than a decade of dedication to the battery energy storage industry. In recent years, the rapid growth of distributed PV installations in Europe has highlighted the challenges posed by the intermittent and fluctuating nature of solar power generation on grid stability. Energy storage, as a key technology for smoothing PV output and enhancing grid stability, has garnered significant attention. Damian's visit this time is aimed at hoping that both parties can cooperate in solar projects, C&I battery energy storage projects, and reducing carbon emissions, etc., to explore green energy solutions and jointly promote the global transition to clean energy.
