EnerCube BESS Set out Again


On May 28, 2024, Vilion Shenzhen Intelligent Manufacturing Factory announced that the EnerCube containerized battery energy storage system has successfully completed rigorous Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and pre-shipment preparations and is set to be shipped to new customer again. 

The EnerCube adopts a standard 20HQ container design, facilitating integrated transportation, installation, and maintenance. Each battery cluster forms a separate cabinet and is autonomously managed, allowing for flexible configuration of cabinet numbers based on project power & capacity requirements. The system also supports modular partitioned operation and maintenance, ensuring that the entire machine does not need to shut down, thereby significantly enhancing system safety, utilization rates, and economic benefits. 

Upon arrival in project site, the EnerCube will be deployed for PV self-consumption and peak-load shifting. With the customer's own photovoltaic setup integrated with the energy storage system, surplus solar energy will be stored in the batteries to be utilized during nighttime or periods of insufficient solar generation, maximizing self-consumption of PV power. Additionally, the BESS will enable on-grid operation, allowing charging from the utility grid during off-peak electricity periods and discharging during peak hours, thereby achieving peak-to-valley price arbitrage and enhancing the economic viability of the BESS project.
